This talk explores the very earliest pantomime performances in the 17th and 18th centuries, the glory days of the 19th century and modern times, taking in spectacular scenery, celebrities and pantomime Dames on the way.
Dr Ann Featherstone is a retired lecturer - and gained both her BA and MA from the OU. Her main interest is in nineteenth century popular entertainment and she has appeared as an expert on several TV programmes.
