Weekend History Seminar

to promote the scholarly study of history.
Wedgwood Memorial College, Station Road, Stoke on Trent, ST12 DG

This is to be held at Wedgwood Memorial College, Barlaston, Stoke on Trent. Friday 3th February until Sunday lunch 5th February 2012. The cost for the weekend per person is £141.00 for single accommodation (£154.00 ensuite) and £135.00 for shared accommodation (£147.00 shared ensuite) . If you wish to attend as a non resident the cost will be £72.00 which includes lunch. (Payment can be made by instalments, please request details).

The theme of the weekend will be 'Work and Leisure' so plenty of scope. If you would like to submit a paper then please contact Sheila Smith. Time slots can vary anything from thirty minutes to an hour. The intention, as always, is to provide an environment that is friendly and interactive so members can gain experience in presenting a paper to a friendly audience. If you do not wish to present a paper then please do consider attending. This year we also hope to incorporate a visit to the Pottery Museum at Stoke on Trent. All our members who have attended in the past have thoroughly enjoyed the weekend - good food, a relaxing atmosphere and plenty of history.
