19th CENTURY BRITISH LIBRARY NEWSPAPERS
Described as the 'most comprehensive collection of national and regional newpapers of 19th century Britain available on-line'. A full-text collection of 48 newspapers such as the Daily News and The Pall Mall Gazette. Free access is available from BL Reading Rooms or theough UK FE and HE communities. However a pay per view and subscription system will be available during 2008.

The Times DIGITAL ARCHIVE 1785-1985
This is an institutional subscription database with full facsimile images which can be accessed via University Libraries and the British Library. Some Public Libraries also have access.
